NILS SWEET IRON UNIVERSAL
Dette er hva Fager skriver om bittet:

Fager Nils is suitable if you would describe your horse as the following;
- Pulls against a contact yet reacts to increased pressure.
- Unsteady in the connection.
- Feels stiff in any standard straight bit.
- Doesn’t instinctively seek out the contact
Nils is a stable barrelled sweet tasting bit known for its comfortable design which contours naturally over the tongue. The barrel tube creates a fast, natural lock in any direction. Ideal to use on horses who needs encouragement to seek more contact without feeling stiff in the hand.
Nils is designed to give extra stability in the mouth for more direct, effective communication making it less confusing for horses who don’t instinctively respond to the aids. It works to keep the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth. Bit designs which create a bigger bend forward also move the BP forward therefore reducing the effectiveness of the aids.
Nils features Fager’s patented Baby Fulmer cheeks which are curved to prevent placing pressure on the horse’s face. The Baby Fulmer cheekpieces also stabilise the mouthpiece inside the mouth. The endings are designed straight with the same diameter in order to stabilise the rings. Baby Fulmer sidepieces provide the horse with extra stability whilst assisting steering.
We have added Universal rings to allow leverage to be adjusted to suit different situations and horses:
For maximum leverage, attach the reins to the bottom ring and this creates a gag effect.
For a mix which emulates a mix of a Baucher bit and loose rings, attach the reins to the middle ring.
We also recommend using the Fager Secure Clasps and Chain to distribute the pressure between the poll, chin and mouth.
